March Madness — TN — Blurry pictures are from my phone — long post!   1 comment

Jazmin hudled up in the back window to make sure we would not forget her!

Sunday morning rush to the main drive way to be picked up for Sunday School.  Annie was so doing her make up with natural sunlight!

Ready and waiting to head to church when the Penrod bus arrived to pick us up.

For some reason all of our children and mother abandoned us out at the edge of the parking lot so we hopped a ride on one of these cool little shuttle rides that large churches have.  We sat together on the back of the cart — what a hoot!

Teaching the Penrod’s the game Dutch Blitz — so much fun

Monday morning Bible with Steven Furtick and cinnamon rolls — wonderful teaching!

School time in the school house

Our beautiful red-head.  Annie did Kristi’s hair for her and when she arrived at the school house Rick was pouting — he really like his girls with blonde hair, but recognizes that they are beautiful regardless!

School time with the Penrods — Rick always goofed off in school when he was younger and it looks like nothing has changed!

Voice lessons with the Penrod’s teacher.  We always enjoy this very much and it was quite a vocal workout!

Uncle Rick was supposed to be helping the guys with the bass part but it looks like he was caught goofing off again!

Our favorite place — the Penrod porch, coffee, talking, doing toenails, discussing life and enjoying relaxing together.

Unlce Rick and Jessie moved from their chairs which were quickly nabbed by others so when they returned they sat away from us and pouted!

After relaxing on the porch the boys put a show on playing basketball.

The Mama Penrod took to the court and showed them a thing or two — 🙂

The girls cheered from the retaining wall — there is no point in them trying to compete with the boys when none of them are over 5 feet 7 inches!

Would this be Uncle Rick goofing off again

My precious mom and I under the rainbow.  She is so sweet and we all adore her.

Rook — the boys!

I took my girls and we headed out for lunch together at a sweet little coffee shop run by Christians.  We had a lovely time being together and catching up!

Cousin love — lot of it!

School time — Annie was teaching on the birds and the bees —   It looks like her class is not taking her very seriously!  🙂

Mom’s birthday party — corn beef dinner – special desserts and presents — fun with those we love celebrating her wonderful life

My Mom and I

Our goodbye dinner before we sent the college kids, Kristi and Tyler off on the bus back to Lynchburg.

Family is precious — time together is not to be taken for granted and we praise the Lord that we were able to be together again.

Blessed to have family and all the love we share
